The video shows quite well of the possible future of our civilization basing on what we do to do the past civilizations. As we excavate cities and culture of past civilization like Rome and Han China, the same thing will happen to us too. Hundreds and thousands of years later (that is,if Earth and human still exist by then) the future humans will study our works and make conclusions with analysis. As the past civilizations have all failed and faded into history, that will also happen to us. Right now there are some major problems in our civilization that we need to, and will have to solve sooner or later. The automobile and all industries that run with oil will have to find a new source of energy as the approachable oil will run out. However, the current governments and the industries are being hesitant and conservative. They do not wish for a change and choose to be lazy until the day of decision arrives. As I watched this video I felt the seriousness of this energy problem and began to wonder what will happen to us if we do not find a suitable replacement for oil in time. I would expect that energy price would become horribly expensive and we would no longer be able to enjoy leisures like watching movies, playing computer games. In the end, I know that human will get through this crisis. The matter is how painful and how long it will take to get through this hardship. The video left me in deep thought of how the world would change when this crisis becomes real.
